symbols- symbols have a significant effect as they represent other things. But so easily could change the meaning of an image. In this static image, the symbol is so simple yet has such a powerful meaning. The fist for BLACKLIVESMATTER, but the rainbow for ALL BLACK LIVES MATTER, meaning gay black lives matter too. So just by adding that little change, it added so much more meaning to the image. And this is where color is also important, the rainbow represents pride. (gay, lesbian, trans, and queer). So black trans matter, black gays matter, black lesbians matter, and all black lives.

lettering/font type and style- Lettering is a very important aspect, as majority of the time it gives of your mood. in this static image, you see that the lettering helps make the picture calm. This font shows sensitivity and emotion, where if the font was big and bold in capitals like this " WE ARE FAMILY" it would give off a more tough love, bold, but strong vibe.

lines - lines, lines can be simply lines, or they can be formed by parts of a picture, in this image you see where the lines are formed, not much lines but where the picture is separated into parts. this picture would have three lines if not an image. one line being the sand part, the other representing where the ocean would go, and lastly the third part would represent the sky and sunset. |
